Permanent full‐time role leading a high performing pricing team, enhancing pricing models, algorithms, and schemes for recent business and renewals. Located in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane CBD with hybrid work from home.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Manage day‐to‐day operations of one of the two Platforms Pricing Teams, focusing on team performance, customer insights, stakeholder collaboration, issue escalation, and process simplification.

/n

- Oversee Strata and Non‐Fleet Motor Pricing, and collaborate with the second Platforms Pricing Team overseeing Business Pack (direct and intermediated).

/n

- Align team work with the Pricing & Analytics (P&A;) strategy and execute work to achieve optimal performance goals.

/n

- Motivate, coach, and engage team members to maintain high performance.

/n

- Support strategic forums and initiatives for the Platforms portfolios, including Digital Insurer.

/n

- Collaborate across P&A; to leverage expertise and optimize results.

/n

- Use pricing strategies to help achieve targets such as growth,



premium, and performance metrics for NFM and Strata.

/n

- Ensure Risk Rates and Premium adequacy are regularly reviewed, monitored, updated, and signed off in alignment with portfolio expectations and P&L; requirements.

- Monitor and analyse portfolio performance, customer segments, and distribution channels to meet objectives.

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Relevant degree in Business, Actuarial Studies, Commerce, or related field.

/n

- Pricing and valuation experience; experience specific to Biz Pack, NFM and Strata preferred.

/n

- Demonstrated leadership ability to lead and engage teams in achieving goals, with over 5 years of relevant experience.

/n

- Strong knowledge in product pricing, finance, and insurance industry practices.

/n

- Proficiency in analytics tools, big data technologies, and platforms such as SAS, Earnix, Redshift, Databricks, and RStudio.
