Peabody is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering & Maintenance team at Centurion Mine, located approximately 160 kilometres west of Mackay.

Reporting to the Manager Engineering & Maintenance, this position is responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities across the underground operation to maximise equipment reliability, optimise resource utilisation, and support safe and efficient production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
/n

- Develop, issue and maintain maintenance schedules for underground equipment and project activities
/n
- Coordinate maintenance requirements with production teams to ensure efficient execution of work
/n
- Liaise with operational leaders, contractors and maintenance personnel regarding resource availability
/n
- Convert asset management plans, inspections, defect reports and service findings into executable work orders
/n
- Monitor maintenance compliance and prepare weekly maintenance performance reports
/n
- Raise purchase orders for maintenance services and equipment components
/n
- Manage work order lifecycle activities, ensuring accurate SAP data and timely close-out
/n
- Maintain and prioritise maintenance backlogs while identifying schedule risks and constraints
/n
- Provide weekly work schedules and supporting documentation to site operational leaders
/n
- Support equipment reliability initiatives and continuous improvement activities

About You
/n
/n
- Demonstrated experience in a Maintenance Planner role or similar position within mining, heavy industry or resources
/n
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and execution methodologies
/n
- Previous experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems
/n
- Ability to analyse equipment reliability and maintenance performance trends
/n
- Sound knowledge of risk management processes, permits, JSEAs and safety systems
/n
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
/n
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
/n
- High level of computer literacy and administrative accuracy
/n/n

This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) and can accommodate Residential (Moranbah), DIDO or FIFO from Brisbane arrangements.
