Four Real Industrial & Safety is a proudly locally owned and operated business supplying quality workwear, PPE, safety equipment, industrial products and custom branded apparel to businesses throughout Mackay and the surrounding regions.

We're looking for an experienced, motivated and hands‐on Store & Operations Manager to lead our Paget operation. This is a diverse leadership role overseeing our retail showroom, warehouse operations and in‐house embroidery department while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency and team performance.

About the Role

As the Store & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day‐to‐day operation of our business, ensuring every department works together efficiently to deliver exceptional customer service and meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and develop the retail, warehouse and embroidery teams.
- Manage the daily operation and presentation of the retail showroom.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receipting, dispatch, stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate embroidery production schedules and workload with the production team to ensure customer deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Manage workflow between sales, warehouse and production departments to maximise efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade, industrial, mining and corporate customers.
- Prepare quotations and assist customers with workwear, PPE, uniforms and branding solutions.
- Drive sales growth while maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
- Monitor stock levels, purchasing and merchandising.
- Coordinate staff rosters,



performance management and ongoing team development.
- Identify and implement process improvements across all operational areas.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business goals and drive continuous improvement.

About You

You'll be a confident leader who enjoys creating efficient systems, developing people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in a management role within workwear, safety, industrial supplies, apparel or a similar trade-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of workwear, PPE and branded apparel.
- Experience coordinating embroidery or garment decoration production (highly regarded).
- Sound understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Robust organisational and planning abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with inventory, POS and business management software.
- A proactive, hands‐on approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
