Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Test Lead based in Perth location. The Automation Test Engineer will have an understanding of testing robotics and/or control systems.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in creating test automation for web applications and API testing in Robot Framework using Python for a microservice platform.
- Developing an Automation framework. Designing, developing, and executing integration, system, regression, and performance tests.
- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and scenarios for verifying solutions and functional requirements.
- Expertise with writing test cases, manual testing and testing processes (STLC) and familiarity with performance & load testing tools
- Working experience of Git Lab, JIRA and Confluence
- Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to refine verification processes
Qualifications
- Proven 8+ years’ experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with integrating automated tests into the delivery pipeline.
- Proven ability in implementing automation frameworks from scratch with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of system verification and validation methodologies for microservices running in Docker environment
- Proficiency with testing tools, data analysis software,
and simulation environments.
- Developing and implementing test plans, procedures, and scenarios for verifying solutions and functional requirements.
- Expertise with writing test cases, manual testing and testing processes (STLC) and familiarity with performance & load testing tools
- Working experience of Git Lab, JIRA and Confluence
- Proven 5+ years’ experience as an Automation Test Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with integrating automated tests into delivery pipeline.
