Initial Project – large industrial building and infrastructure project - $500M+

Site & Project Engineer level candidates considered (2-10 years experience)

$150,000 - $180,000 + Super

Immediate need for a Site / Project Engineer to join a highly reputable national Australian commercial,industrial and infrastructure build contractor. Initially, you will work on a large build and transport project located at the very Northern end of the Gold Coast.

It is a unique Govt new build industrial and infrastructure project, which has a 2-3year programme. Following this projects you'll work on another project in Greater Brisbane or on the Gold Coast in the tier 2 build space.

Joining the project team and reporting to the SPE and PM, you will be exposed to the full range of civils, structure and finishing stages of this project.



Your duties will include;

- Design management and coordination
- Project coordinating & monitoring activities
- Program through optimisation of construction methodology, sequencing, and resource distribution.
- Providing high levels of Quality Assurance
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Updating relevant stakeholders of upcoming works through weekly meetings to ensure key messages and milestones are shared.
- Compliance with HSEQ management systems ensuring organisational policies and procedures is being followed throughout construction planning phases.
- RFI management
- Managing contracts and contract documentation

To be suitable candidates will possess the following;

- Ideally a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering from an Australian University
- 2-10 years working for top build and / or civil contractors as a Site Project Engineer for a Australian building contractor.
- Recent experience working on across rail projects would be highly beneficial (e.g Cross River or Gold Coast light rail)
- Experience across construction software in-keeping with the top-tier building market, such as Aconex, Procore and more.
- Will ideally be located on the Gold Coast or Southern Brisbane
