Your new company Our client, a local not-for-profit organisation specialising in property maintenance services, is recruiting for a skilled Operations Manager to lead their day-to-day activity.

As the Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. This role combines team leadership, commercial oversight, and strong client engagement. This is a full-time Permanent role based in Darwin.

/n

Your key responsibilities will be:

/n

/n

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Supervisors, Labourers, and administrative staff.

/n

- Oversee operational planning, scheduling, and daily workflow management.

/n

- Prepare tenders, quotes, and commercial proposals.

/n

- Produce monthly reporting, financial tracking, and performance analysis.

/n

- Manage safety, risk, and compliance across operations.

/n

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

/n

- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

/n/n

What you'll need to succeed





/n

To be successful in this role you will have:

/n

/n

- Experience in people leadership and / or business or operational management roles.

/n

- Background in property maintenance or facilities management (desirable but not essential).

/n

- Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing quotes or tenders.

/n

- Ability to interpret operational and financial reports.

/n

- Knowledge of WHS, risk management, and compliance practices.

/n

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

/n

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
