Solution Identity Architect | Azure | CIAM | IAM | Federal Government

Canberra, ACT (Hybrid) | 6 Month Contract x2 6 Month Extension | Baseline Clearance

We're partnering with a Federal Government agency delivering critical digital identity capabilities that support millions of Australians accessing online government services.

/n

This is an opportunity for an experienced Solution Identity Architect to shape the future of the department's Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform, supporting major digital transformation initiatives and the evolution of modern identity services.

/n

What you'll be doing

/n

You'll lead the architecture and design of secure identity solutions across authentication, authorisation, federation and customer account management while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with Australian Government security standards.

/n

Working across project and operational teams, you'll provide architecture governance, technical leadership and solution assurance while supporting the transition from Azure AD B2C to modern Microsoft identity services.

/n

We're looking for experience with:

/n

/n

- Solution Architecture or Identity Architecture within large enterprise environments

/n





- Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM)

/n

- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure identity services

/n

- Authentication technologies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML

/n

- Architecture artefacts including Solution Designs, High-Level Designs and Integration Designs

/n

- Architecture governance, technical assurance and design reviews

/n

- Cloud-based identity solutions within highly regulated or government environments

/n

- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate with both business and technical audiences

Highly regarded

/n

/n

- TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect or other Architecture certifications

/n

- IAM or Identity-related certifications

/n

- Australian Government experience

/n

- Knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Digital Identity standards

/n /n
