The opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Manager, Workforce Planning to lead the workforce strategy for our contact centre in the consumer business unit. This is a critical leadership role focused on ensuring the business has the right workforce capability, capacity and structure to meet customer demand today while preparing for the future. You'll drive strategic workforce planning, support transformation initiatives, and lead an established team to deliver workforce solutions that improve performance, productivity and customer outcomes.

Your new role
As Senior Manager, Workforce Planning, you'll lead the end-to-end workforce planning function, ensuring workforce strategies align with current and future business needs while driving operational performance and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead annual and quarterly workforce planning, forecasting, scenario modelling and reforecasting activities.
- Develop workforce plans covering capacity, capability, channel mix and location requirements.
- Oversee forecasting, scheduling, real-time workforce management and performance reporting.
- Drive workforce optimisation strategies that improve service, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Build workforce business cases, benefit profiles and investment proposals,
supported by robust financial analysis.
- Establish benefit tracking and performance measurement frameworks to ensure outcomes are realised.
- Develop strategic workforce planning models and scenarios to support executive decision-making and long-term workforce strategy.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing workforce planning team.
About you
You are a strategic and commercially minded workforce planning leader with extensive experience shaping workforce strategies in complex organisations. You're skilled at looking beyond immediate workforce needs, identifying future capability requirements, and using data-driven insights to influence business decisions and deliver long-term value.
- Significant experience leading strategic workforce planning functions within large and complex organisations.
- Proven expertise in workforce forecasting, modelling, capacity planning and optimisation.
- Strong experience developing workforce strategies that support business growth, transformation and changing operating models.
- Demonstrated capability in scenario modelling, business case development and translating data into actionable insights.
- Ability to assess future workforce needs, capability requirements and the impacts of market, technology and workforce trends.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and driving enterprise-wide outcomes.
