Working closely with senior business leaders, you'll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day finance function while contributing to systems improvements, business reporting, and finance transformation initiatives as the organisation continues to expand.

Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the business is bringing its accounting function in-house and building the foundations for its next stage of success. With multiple entities, future investment ventures, and an active growth pipeline, this role offers genuine scope to broaden your responsibilities and develop into a well-rounded accountant.

The Chance

Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will support the finance function while contributing to wider business improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close activities and management reporting
- Supporting BAS preparation and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and liaising with external accountants
- Managing and improving Xero workflows, invoice processing,



and expense management processes
- Assisting with cash flow reporting and financial analysis
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance operations
- Supporting business reporting, special projects, and ad hoc analysis
- Providing broader operational and administrative support as required

About You

We're seeking someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and eager to build a long-term career in accounting and finance.
You may be a recent accounting graduate or an early-career accountant wanting broader exposure beyond traditional transactional accounting.

Ideally, you will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 1-3 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support
- Exposure to Xero or a similar accounting system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Confidence using technology and identifying process improvements
- A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
