Our client is a well established company who is Western Australian owned and operated, a leading provider of heavy diesel mechanical services to the mining industry.
/n
As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems across a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment. Duties will vary from servicing and wiring repairs to preventative maintenance and breakdown support on 60-100 tonne mobile mining equipment.
/n
The Role:
/n
/n
- Rotation: 2 weeks days ($85.00), R&R;, then 2 weeks nights ($95.00)
/n
- Conduct scheduled and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
/n
- Rio Inductions is highly desirable
/n
- Company field service ute supplied
/n/n
The Requirements:
/n
/n
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
/n
- Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
/n
- Extensive knowledge and experience in heavy mobile mining equipment servicing, repairs and maintenance
/n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
/n
- Commitment to protected work practices
/n
- Clean shaven (must be able to pass mask fit testing)
/n
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
/n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
/n
- Must be fully qualified and based locally with full Australian working rights and a valid driver's licence
