- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on rotary-wing aircraft, including inspections, defect rectifications, and modifications.
- Certify aircraft as fit for service by issuing Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) upon completion of maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor and rectify any operational issues in a timely manner, coordinating with other operational teams to ensure safety and reliability.
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management as required.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and compliance with airworthiness directives.
- Prepare and submit reports related to maintenance activities, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) events and critical troubleshooting.
- Assist in the preparation of maintenance forecasts, including manpower, spares, and equipment needs.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in helicopter maintenance, with a strong operational and technical knowledge
- Possess minimum in Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or a related field
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in using maintenance management systems
- Candidate is required to possess the following: B1.3 LAME, Related CASA Part 66 License and hold Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC
- Experience in Part 145
- Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical instructions
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines whiles part of the overall team Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Successful applicants must have a commitment to safety and employment is conditional upon satisfying aviation security and screening procedures.
- Must hold a current Australian drivers license.
- Experience on the following Helicopter & Powerplant types would be highly regarded
- Bell Series Helicopters 212/412 & 206/407,
- Airbus,
- Eurocopter, and
- Heavy maintenance experience
