Stainless Steel Fabricator / TIG Welder / Pipe Fitter/ Boilermaker

About the Role

Our client is a leading stainless steel fabrication specialist based in Ingleburn and is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join their growing team.

Specialising in the design and manufacture of custom stainless steel tanks, mixing vessels and process equipment, they supply industries including food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical manufacturing.

This is a genuinely exciting role where no two projects are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys bespoke fabrication work rather than repetitive production-based manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate, fit and weld custom stainless steel tanks, vessels, process pipework and structural components from engineering drawings.
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel sheet, tube and pipe
- Complete internal weld grinding, polishing and finishing to food and pharmaceutical-grade standards.
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and minimise distortion.
- Assemble process equipment including baffles, jackets, spray balls, agitators, drives and valves.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and workplace safety.

About You





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent).
- Proven experience fabricating custom stainless steel tanks, vessels, process equipment or sanitary pipework.
- Excellent TIG welding skills with experience producing high-quality cosmetic welds.
- Previous experience working in a custom fabrication or workshop environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings independently.
- Solid understanding of fabrication standards, purge welding and food-grade finishing requirements.
- A solid work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
