Your new role:

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to provide advanced clinical, operational and strategic leadership across Ambulatory Services, Outpatient Clinics and Rehabilitation Services at Princess Alexandra Hospital. You'll lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team while shaping the future of pharmacy practice through innovation, governance, research and service improvement.

In this role you will:

- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists, clinical assistants, interns, residents and students.
- Deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services across Ambulatory Services, Brain Injury, Jasmine and Spinal Injuries Units.
- Provide expert clinical leadership, mentoring and support for complex patient care and medication management.
- Drive professional governance, workforce development and succession planning within the pharmacy service.

About us:

At a quaternary level hospital, the PAH Pharmacy Department delivers excellence in patient centred care, education, and research in most major adult specialties. Clinical Pharmacy Services are provided in a patient-centred model across inpatient and ambulatory settings in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The department is equipped with advanced technology which enables robotic inventory control and dispensing. The department is staffed with pharmacist and clinical assistant staff who have a range of experience and who are well respected and regarded in the organisation. The department actively participates in practice-based research and medication utilisation evaluation studies, and quality improvement programs with university providers.
