About the Role

Set in the leafy streets of Spring Hill, just a stone's throw from Brisbane's CBD and Fortitude Valley, Kennigo Hotel strikes the balance between homely comfort and cosmopolitan flair, and our Room Attendants are at the heart of delivering that feeling to every guest.



We are looking for Room Attendants to join the housekeeping team, taking pride in the detail that makes every stay memorable, whether it's a quick overnight or a longer break.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms to the hotel's high standards within allocated timeframes.
- Replenish guest amenities, linen and supplies, ensuring rooms are presented consistently and ready for arrival.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property promptly and accurately.
- Follow correct procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment and laundry in line with WH&S; guidelines.
- Respond to guest requests and special needs in a timely, friendly manner.
- Accurately update room status to keep reception informed in real time.
- Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping team and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential - a positive attitude and willingness to learn go a long way.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
- Valuable communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.




- Physical capability to manage the demands of the role, including standing, bending and lifting.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
