Position

Due to continued growth, a Regional Manager - Fire Services opportunity has become available. This senior leadership role will be responsible for overseeing regional operations across North Queensland from Mackay through to Cairns, driving business performance, developing leaders, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality fire protection services.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced operational leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving processes, strengthening customer relationships, and driving growth across a regional portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:

- Providing leadership and operational oversight across the North Queensland region from Mackay through to Cairns.
- Leading, coaching, and developing branch managers and operational teams to create a high-performance culture.
- Managing regional performance including profitability, budgets, productivity, and key operational KPIs.
- Developing strategies to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality fire protection services while maintaining compliance with industry standards and legislative requirements.




- Championing a solid safety culture across all operations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and overall business performance.
- Working closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced operational leader with a background managing multi-site teams within the fire protection, building services, engineering, construction, facilities management, or related technical industries.

A strong commercial mindset, proven leadership capability, and the ability to develop high-performing teams are essential. Candidates with an electrical, mechanical, or technical trade background will be highly regarded.

The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include:

- Demonstrated experience in Regional Management, Operations Management, or Multi-Site Leadership roles.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and developing strong leaders.
- Previous experience within fire protection or a technical service-based industry.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgets and profitability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
