About Supplyhaus
Supplyhaus, backed by the McNab Group, is reimagining construction supply. We specialise in providing and installing industry-leading façade, joinery, and steel solutions, delivering high-quality building products with builder expertise. Supplyhaus Joinery offers comprehensive joinery solutions, meticulously managing every facet from conception and fabrication to installation and aftercare.
Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Joinery Foreman to join our Brisbane based team.
About the role
As our Joinery Foreman, you'll lead the successful delivery of commercial joinery installations across multiple projects, ensuring every installation is completed safely, on time, on budget and to Supplyhaus' exceptional quality standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, builders, installers and subcontractors, you'll coordinate day-to-day site activities, proactively solve problems, maintain strong site relationships and create an environment where safety and quality always come first.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time on site mentoring installers, monitoring progress, identifying potential issues before they become problems and ensuring every project is delivered to the high standards Supplyhaus is known for.
What you will be doing:
- Lead and coordinate joinery installations across multiple commercial projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to Supplyhaus' high quality standards.
- Champion a safety-first culture by leading through example, promoting safe work practices, quality workmanship and continuous improvement across every project.
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate installation programs, labour, materials, deliveries and site logistics to keep projects running smoothly.
- Monitor installation progress, complete site measures, manage defects through Procore and ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality standards are achieved the first time.
- Supervise and support installers and subcontractors, providing clear direction,
constructive feedback and hands-on assistance when required.
- Build strong relationships with builders, subcontractors and project teams, representing Supplyhaus at site meetings and resolving issues collaboratively.
- Proactively identify and resolve site challenges before they impact project delivery, maintaining open communication with stakeholders throughout the installation process.
- Review scopes of work, audit installation quality and ensure all work complies with project requirements, company processes and safety expectations.
- Rolling up your sleeves to assist with joinery installs when needed.
About you
You're an experienced Joinery Foreman, Supervisor or Leading Hand who thrives in a fast-paced commercial setting. You enjoy leading people, solving problems and delivering quality outcomes while building strong relationships with everyone on site.
You'll also bring:

- Proven experience supervising commercial joinery installation projects.
- Strong understanding of cabinet making, hardware and joinery installation techniques.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, defect management and site coordination.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to build good relationships with clients and project teams and subcontractors.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they impact the program.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- You're adaptable, able to shift priorities as project needs change while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves wherever needed,
understanding that every task contributes to successful project delivery, no matter how big or small.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to confidently prioritise competing tasks.
- Confidence using MS Office suite and site management systems such as Procore (or similar).
- A passion for learning and taking on challenges that grow your skills and career.
- A current driver's licence, white card and willingness to undertake a functional capacity assessment.
