Bruder RV is a premium Australian manufacturer of high-performance, off-road and luxury caravans. Known globally for our EXP range and the newly launched ADX series, Bruder RV is recognised for innovation, quality and capability in some of the world's toughest conditions.
We are now seeking a practical, hands-on Electrical Assembler to join our Brisbane production team. This role will support the assembly and installation of 12V electrical systems, wiring harnesses, electrical boards and related components across our premium off-road caravan builds.
About the role
As an Electrical Assembler, you will work across various stages of the caravan build process, with a focus on 12V electrical assembly, installation and fit-off. You will use hand tools and power tools, follow work instructions, assist with troubleshooting and contribute to a safe, efficient and high-quality production environment.
This role is suited to someone with valuable practical ability, strong attention to detail and experience in 12V electrical systems, aftermarket accessories, caravan/RV fit-out, automotive accessories, trade assistant work or similar hands-on assembly roles.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and install 12V electrical systems and components
- Make wiring harnesses and complete electrical sub-assemblies
- Assemble and fit 12V electrical boards
- Install electrical accessories and related caravan components
- Assist with basic plumbing and general external caravan fittings where required
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow work instructions, production schedules and quality requirements
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high-quality finish
- Assist with fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Identify opportunities to improve build tasks, processes,
quality and safety
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with team members, leaders and supervisors
- Complete other production tasks as required
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience with 12V DC electrical wiring, installation or maintenance
- Experience making wiring harnesses or electrical sub-assemblies
- Good knowledge of camping, caravan, RV, automotive or accessory electrical systems
- Experience fitting aftermarket accessories such as canopies, snorkels, cameras, lights or similar products will be highly regarded
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in a premium-quality finish
- Good listening, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow work instructions and manage task priorities
- A reliable, self-motivated and practical approach
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when required
- Physical fitness and willingness to perform hands-on work
Trade qualifications are highly regarded, however candidates with strong practical experience in a trade assistant, automotive accessory fitting, caravan/RV, camping electrical or similar hands-on role are also encouraged to apply.
