About the role
Rangers use their skills and experience to manage, protect and maintain park values and assets, support outstanding visitor experiences and to protect biodiversity. As part of a committed team, you'll be helping to manage a network of parks and reserves that contain campgrounds, day visitor areas, walking tracks, roads and 4WD tracks. You'll also be involved in pest plant and animal management, native vegetation management, Traditional Owner engagement, fire and emergency management, visitor engagement and compliance activities.

We're looking for someone with:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in conservation, land management or field-based work.
- Practical skills maintaining assets, infrastructure or natural areas.
- Ability to work safely in outdoor and physically demanding environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A pro-active approach to problem solving and delivering quality outcomes.
- coxswain qualifications would be desirable but not essential
