About the role
This part-time position supports Councilās Capital Delivery team through coordinated administration, contract management and project support. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders.
This is a fixed-term part-time role ending on 7 July 2027, working Thursday and Friday each week. These days are fixed and cannot be changed, so applicants must be available to work both Thursdays and Fridays for the duration of the appointment.
You will maintain project records, support reporting and scheduling, assist with procurement and contract administration, and help apply Councilās project management processes.
About you
You are an organised and proactive administration professional with experience in projects, procurement, contracts or business support. You are confident working with records, systems, reports and documentation, with a strong focus on accuracy and timely support.
You can manage competing priorities, work with minimal supervision and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to support strong project outcomes.
Key requirements for the role
- 2ā3 yearsā experience in business administration, procurement or contract management.
- Experience supporting projects and contract administration.
- Current unrestricted Queensland āCā class driver licence (essential).
- Construction Industry White Card
- Certificate in Business, Project Administration or similar is desirable.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and enterprise systems such as TechnologyOne, Oracle Aconex or CAMM is desirable.

* The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
