About the role!

You will join a Banking & Financial Services practice and work across funds management, financial services compliance and corporate transactions with highly regarded senior lawyers.

- Establish and operate funds across asset classes
- Assist with fund restructures, mergers and closures
- Advise on AFSL requirements, applications and variations
- Prepare and review product disclosure statements and information memoranda
- Undertake due diligence for transactions and disclosure documents
- Review fund-related commercial agreements
- Advise on service provider arrangements
- Work on M&A; and broader corporate transactions
- Support marketing, BD, seminars, articles, precedents, CPD and team initiatives





What you'll bring!You will ideally be a Lawyer or Associate with 4 years’ post-admission experience in funds management and/or financial services law, with private practice experience preferred.

- Excellent drafting, technical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Transparent written and verbal communication
- Commercial approach to client solutions
- Ability to manage client relationships
- Interest in innovation and practice development
- Willingness to mentor and supervise junior team members

- Corporate, commercial or banking lawyers with a genuine interest in financial services are strongly encouraged to apply
