Have you recently completed your Accounting degree and are looking to kick-start your career in finance?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative finance team where you'll receive hands-on mentoring from an experienced Financial Controller. You'll gain exposure to project accounting, financial reporting, month-end processes and business partnering, providing the ideal foundation to build a successful accounting career.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project invoicing, customer billings and payment claims.
- Supporting accounts receivable activities, including customer follow-up and reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end processing, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining project information within the ERP system.
- Supporting the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.
- Assisting with fixed asset administration and capital expenditure reporting.
- Supporting finance process improvements and system enhancements.
- Working closely with operational teams to resolve project and financial queries.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business (majoring in Accounting).
- Ideally up to two years' accounting experience through a graduate role, internship or assistant accounting position.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
