This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of manufacturing our range of sauces, mustards and dressings. You'll prepare ingredients, operate production equipment, run our mustard milling process, fill and package products, and help ensure every product meets our high-quality standards. You'll work closely with the Production Supervisor to keep production running safely and efficiently.

About the Role

Australian Quality Condiments is looking for a motivated Food Process Worker to join our production team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of manufacturing our range of sauces, mustards and dressings. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, following production schedules, maintaining high food safety standards and ensuring our products leave the factory looking their best.

Hours

Monday to Thursday

6:00am – 4:00pm

Enjoy a three-day weekend every week.

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Production

- Prepare ingredients and raw materials for production.

- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

- Fill, label and package finished products.





- Assemble cartons and prepare products for dispatch.

- Monitor product quality throughout the production process.

- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

- Operate and monitor our mustard mill to produce products to specification.

- Prepare and weigh raw ingredients according to production recipes.

- Set up, operate and clean processing equipment.

- Monitor product consistency and report any variations to the Production Supervisor.

Food Safety & Quality

- Follow GMP, HACCP and Food Safety procedures.

- Complete production records accurately.

- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.

- Identify and report quality issues immediately.

- Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Safety

- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures.

- Wear appropriate PPE.

- Report hazards or equipment faults.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Teamwork

- Work collaboratively with the Production Supervisor and wider team.

- Assist in different production areas as required.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a production environment (preferred but not essential).





- Previous experience operating food processing or manufacturing equipment (preferred but not essential).

- Mechanical aptitude and confidence learning to operate production machinery.

- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

- High attention to detail.

- Good communication skills.

- The ability to work well within a team.

- A positive, can-do attitude.

- Good time management skills.

- A commitment to quality and food safety.

- A forklift licence (essential).

- A manual driver’s licence (preferred but not essential).

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active role and applicants must be comfortable:

- Standing and walking for extended periods.

- Repetitive lifting of up to 20kg.

- Working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

- Working in varying temperatures throughout the factory.

Salary

$30per hour, starting rate.
