Operating nationally, this catering company is one of the largest within Queensland's sector. Currently, this organisation looks after remote sites and, with continual growth across all of their sites, they are currently seeking a highly skilled chef to join their unrivalled team. The role will be FIFO, BIBO or DIDO from Brisbane.
Your new role

Your exciting new position will require your skills to be of a high level. The responsibilities will include food preparation for breakfast, dinner, crib shift or rig chef and working different shift times. You must be able to work quickly and in high-pressure situations whilst maintaining an exceptional quality in taste and display both with meals and desserts.
You will need to be physically fit for the tasks required and have a high focus on timeliness, presentation and professional, friendly interaction with guests and staff. The role will be working in remote areas of Queensland, with rosters for 7 or 14-day swings.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role,



you will need to undergo a full medical including drug and alcohol, and have the ability to complete a national police check.

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- 4WD certification/ Operate Vehicles in the Field must hold or be willing to obtain
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- High-volume catering or bulk cooking, fast-paced commercial kitchen experience is a must.
- Experience working in remote camps
- Adaptable to work all different shifts
- You will be dedicated to food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Ability to work unsupervised or within a team environment
- S11 and CBM advantageous
- First Aid/CPR
