About the Company

This is a well-established and substantial Sydney headquartered, privately-owned business with exciting growth plans. Based in Sydney CBD, the Australian business is a complex, multi-site manufacturing and distribution operation with facilities around the country. This key leadership role will support the CFO in developing a high-calibre finance function with appropriate financial governance and controls to enable significant growth organically and through acquisitions.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO with full responsibility for operational finance, statutory and climate reporting, tax and insurance.

- Broad financial management role with a focus on productive and accurate reporting
- Leverage technology including new ERP to develop further automation
- Partner an experienced CFO to lead and develop a large team
- Enhance accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Provide project support to planning and commercial decisions

Your Background





- You will be an accomplished Finance Manager or Controller ready for the next challenge
- Alternatively you’re a Senior Manager/Director in a large accounting firm looking for a corporate role
- Ideally you will have manufacturing/distribution or multi-site sector experience
- You have implemented improved processes and controls previously
- You are a flexible and resilient leader who enjoys a changing environment
- You have strong technical knowledge and attention to detail, ideally gained from a chartered accounting firm
