Support Technician (IT / AV / Hardware)

Hybrid Working - 3 days a week on-site

Our client is a well-established Australian technology solutions provider delivering innovative hardware, software and audiovisual solutions to organisations across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated Support Technician to join their Melbourne team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their IT career or looking to broaden their technical skills in a hands-on support environment. You'll receive ongoing training, mentorship and exposure to a wide range of technologies, making it an ideal role for someone who enjoys learning and solving technical problems.

About the Role

Reporting to the Support Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Providing technical support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools.
- Managing and updating support tickets within the service desk.
- Configuring and preparing hardware and technology solutions for deployment.
- Assisting field technicians with troubleshooting and technical support.




- Performing occasional onsite support visits across Melbourne.
- Delivering a high level of customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys technology and is keen to develop their technical skills. The ideal candidate will have:

- A background in IT and/or AV is preferable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to networking concepts.
- Experience configuring hardware or technology devices.
- AV, multimedia or graphics-related experience.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to recent technologies.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
