Job Specification
As the locum pharmacist, you will be working with 1-2 other pharmacists on weekdays and as a sole pharmacist on weekends, 2-3 dispense techs and 4-5 FOS staff on all shifts, using Dispense works for a busy script trade. Main duties will be dispensing, counselling and offering excellent customer service.
Dates: Monday 17th August to Friday 11th September 2026.
Roster will be as follows:
Week 1: Monday 17th August to Saturday 22nd August.
Monday 9.30 am to 6pm 30 min break
Tuesday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4pm 30 min break
Friday 10.00 am to 6pm 30 min break
Saturday 8.00 am to 1pm no break
Week 2: Monday 25th August to Friday 28th August.
Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4pm 30 min break
Friday 8am to 3.00pm
Week 3: Monday 31st August to Saturday 5th September
Monday 9.30 am to 6pm 30 min break
Tuesday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4pm 30 min break
Friday 10.00 am to 6pm 30 min break
Saturday 8.00 am to 1pm no break
Week 4 Monday 7th September to Friday 11th September
Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 4pm 30 min break
Friday 8am to 3.00pm 30 min break
Experience Required:
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience with Dispense works (preferred but not essential).
- Vaccination exp preferred but not essential .
- Sole pharmacist capabilities for weekend shifts (essential).
Standard Pay Rates: (paid by Ravens)
Weekdays - $75 p/hr + Super
Saturday - $80 p/hr + Super
Sunday $85 p/hr +Super PIC
Travel (mileage $1.01 per km if local or flights (i.e. usually from Brisbane)
Accommodation provided (usually Vila Mirasol or Alexandria Apartments, depending on Availability, Or if locum wishes to book their own accommodation, an accommodation allowance of up to $170 per night will be reimbursed. Accommodation within walking distance of store (approx 1.8 km)
