Learning & Development Officers | Multiple Opportunities Multiple Contract Opportunities | Queensland Government

We are currently seeking Learning & Development Officers to join a Queensland Government team and support the delivery of high-quality learning and development initiatives across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced learning and development professionals who enjoy designing and delivering practical training, working with diverse stakeholders and helping teams build capability.

About the Role As a Learning & Development Officer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging learning solutions that support effective, consistent and informed customer service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering information sessions, workshops and training to support staff capability and consistent service delivery.
- Designing, developing and reviewing training programs and materials relating to business systems, policies and procedures.
- Coordinating the planning, administration, resources and logistics required to deliver learning activities within agreed timeframes.
- Conducting training needs analyses and developing targeted learning and development plans.
- Providing advice to senior management on contemporary learning and development practices and methodologies.
- Evaluating internal and external learning activities and using feedback to continuously improve training outcomes.
- Identifying and recommending external training providers and facilitators, with a focus on value for money, quality and consistency.




- Adapting learning approaches to meet different locations, teams and individual learning needs.
- Promoting and maintaining a strong workplace health and safety culture, ensuring relevant policies and practices are embedded into day-to-day operations.

About You We are looking for Learning & Development professionals who can demonstrate:

- Strong experience in training design, facilitation and evaluation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A cooperative approach and the ability to coach, mentor and share knowledge with others.
- The ability to understand broader organisational objectives and align learning solutions accordingly.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Professional, ethical and culturally sensitive behaviours.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve learning methods and outcomes.

Experience or knowledge of housing, real estate, property management or asset management will be highly regarded.
