ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Building Caretaker, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day care and presentation of our luxury residential developments located in Brisbane North. From maintaining pristine common areas to ensuring everything works seamlessly behind the scenes, your role is essential in maintaining the building to the highest standard and creating a place that residents are proud to call home.

You'll be part of a team that values collaboration and supports one another, with experienced leaders and office support behind you every step of the way.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the presentation, maintenance and day-to-day upkeep of building facilities, including common areas, resident amenities and outdoor spaces.

- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs, proactively identifying potential issues and escalating more complex maintenance requirements where necessary.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including maintenance logs, contractor activities and compliance documentation.

- Care for outdoor areas to ensure they remain attractive, well-maintained and welcoming. A green thumb is highly regarded.

- Take ownership of cleaning and maintaining communal spaces, ensuring they consistently reflect our high standards of presentation and resident experience.

- Monitor and support compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, including fire safety, workplace health and safety (WHS) obligations, and statutory building requirements.

- Build positive relationships with residents by providing friendly,



professional assistance and responding to queries in a timely manner.

- Coordinate and liaise with external contractors, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance, safety or presentation issues and ensure prompt resolution.

- Support the delivery of a safe, clean and well-maintained living environment that enhances the resident experience.

ABOUT YOU

We are searching for someone friendly and approachable who has:

- Take pride in maintaining high standards and presenting properties at their very best.

- Be hands-on, proactive and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to tackle a variety of tasks each day.

- Previous experience in caretaking, facilities maintenance, property services, groundskeeping, cleaning, trade services or a similar role is advantageous.

- Be highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and qualified approach to resident and contractor interactions.

- Proficient in using technology and applications for reporting, scheduling,



and operational efficiency (Experience with MYBOS is advantageous).

- Have an appreciation for gardens and outdoor spaces, with basic gardening or landscaping experience advantageous.
