Supply Chain Coordinator

Our client is a well-established steel manufacturer supplying high-quality steel products. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team, with a strong focus on inbound logistics, inventory administration, and international freight coordination.

About the Role
Reporting into the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound freight, managing freight documentation, and ensuring goods are accurately received into the ERP system. You'll work closely with freight forwarders, transport companies, and customs brokers to keep shipments, both local and international, moving efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate inbound freight and schedule deliveries into the warehouse
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and customs brokers regarding shipment arrivals and freight documentation
- Process and reconcile international freight invoices for payment
- Receipt all locally sourced and imported goods into the ERP system (Epicor)
- Investigate and resolve receipt and freight discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory and freight records
- Support reporting, data analysis,



and process improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function (e.g. monthly freight cost summaries)

About You

- Previous experience in logistics, freight, supply chain administration, inventory control, or a similar role — ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Experience using ERP systems (Epicor experience highly regarded)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Robust technical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- A proven track record of reliability — this is one of the most important qualities we're looking for

Experience dealing with international freight, customs documentation, and freight invoice processing would be highly desirable.
