About Us

Valuations Australia is a growing full-service valuation firm providing property, business, plant and equipment valuations across Australia.

We have expanded nationally and are looking for a Sales Manager to lead our sales team, protect the quality of our client experience, and help convert warm enquiries into confirmed valuation jobs.

This is not a “set and forget” management role. We need someone who genuinely cares about the outcome, takes ownership of the team, keeps standards high, and does not cut corners.

About the Role

You will manage a team of salespeople handling warm inbound valuation enquiries. The team works in a fast-paced, one-call-close environment where clients often need accurate information, confidence, and clear next steps.

Your role is to make sure the team performs — but performs properly.

That means strong sales results, clean CRM records, accurate deal reporting, quality conversations, fast follow-up, and skilled complaint handling when issues are escalated.

You will be responsible for coaching the team, monitoring sales quality, improving scripts, reviewing performance, and stepping in when customers need a calm, competent senior person to resolve a concern.

What We Need

We are looking for a Sales Manager who treats the business like it matters.

The right person will care about the numbers, but also care about the client, the team, the process, and the long-term reputation of the company.

We do not want someone who only looks positive on a dashboard. We need someone who can build a high-performing sales team without gaming the system, inflating results, or sacrificing quality for volume.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, coach and support a remote sales team handling warm inbound enquiries.

- Drive sales performance across valuation quotes and confirmed bookings.

- Monitor call quality, follow-up standards, CRM accuracy and conversion performance.

- Ensure deals are recorded honestly, accurately and transparently.

- Handle escalated customer complaints and disputes with professionalism.

- Improve sales scripts, objection handling, training material and team processes.

- Provide regular feedback to sales staff to lift performance and consistency.

- Identify gaps in the sales process and implement practical improvements.

- Coordinate with valuers and internal teams to ensure clients receive accurate information and timely service.

- Support client relationships across property, business and valuation-related enquiries.

- Maintain a strong focus on quality conversations, not just call volume.

What Success Looks Like

You will be successful in this role if:

- The team converts more warm leads into confirmed valuation jobs.

- CRM records are clean, accurate and reliable.

- Sales staff are coached regularly and held accountable.

- Customer complaints are handled quickly and professionally.

- Scripts, processes and follow-up systems improve over time.

- Management can trust the numbers being reported.

- Clients feel they are dealing with a competent, responsive and professional company.

- The sales team performs without needing constant supervision from the business owners.

Required Experience

- Proven experience managing salespeople, not just working as a salesperson.

- Strong background in high-value phone-based sales.

- Experience working with warm leads and consultative sales conversations.

- Ability to coach sales staff on tone, pace, confidence, objection handling and closing.

- Strong verbal communication skills.

- Experience reviewing sales calls, CRM activity and pipeline accuracy.

- Ability to handle escalated customer complaints calmly and commercially.

- Strong attention to detail and process discipline.

- Experience in real estate, property, finance, mortgage lending or professional services sales.

- Ability to work remotely without being micromanaged.

- High personal integrity and accurate reporting habits.

Highly Regarded

- Experience in property valuations, mortgage broking, lending, real estate or financial services.

- Knowledge of property valuation,

business valuation or plant and equipment valuation processes.

- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

- Experience building sales scripts, training frameworks and performance dashboards.

- Experience managing remote sales teams.

Who This Role Will Suit

This role will suit someone who is commercially sharp, direct, organised and accountable.

You may be a strong sales manager from real estate, mortgage broking, finance, professional services, valuation services or a similar high-trust sales environment.

You should be comfortable holding people accountable, but you also need the patience and maturity to deal with customers professionally when something goes wrong.

This is a role for someone who wants ownership, not someone who wants to hide behind activity numbers.

Who This Role Will Not Suit

This role will not suit someone who:

- Needs to be chased to do basic management tasks.

- Only cares about commissions and ignores client experience.

- Inflates results or manipulates CRM data.

- Avoids difficult conversations with staff or customers.

- Measures success by volume alone.

- Blames the team instead of improving the system.

- Treats customer complaints as an inconvenience rather than part of the role.

Why Join Valuations Australia?

- Warm inbound leads.

- Remote full-time role.

- Growing national valuation firm.

- High-value client conversations.

- Opportunity to lead and improve an active sales team.

- Clear scope to make a measurable impact.

- Rewarding compensation structure for the right performer.
