About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Switchboard Estimation Electrical Engineer to join our team based at our Central Coast NSW facility.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will responsible for:
- Prepare accurate tender and pricing submissions for low voltage electrical switchboard supply packages, reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements to develop competitive, compliant estimates
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive communication, professional support and a high level of service throughout the tender and delivery process
- Develop effective working relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to support pricing accuracy,
product availability and successful project outcomes
- Stay current with relevant industry developments, Australian Standards and technical requirements to ensure all estimates and proposals are aligned with best practice and compliance expectations
This is a full time position, with a working week of Monday to Friday.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Relevant qualification in Engineering (Diploma or higher) or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Electrical Switchboard Estimating, or similar role within an electrical, construction, or industrial environment
- Solid knowledge/understanding of LV Switchboard design, processes, including managing documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Understanding of AS/NZS 3000 & 61439 Standards
- Experience working collaboratively with Project Managers, Engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
