About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Fixed Plant Shuts & Maintenance team on a casual or full-time basis.
Reporting to the Shutdown & Projects Area Manager, this role will be focused on leading mechanical maintenance crews on fixed plant equipment primarily on shutdowns & projects throughout the WA region.
Key responsibilities:
- Execution & coordination of various shutdowns & projects to a high quality including planning, scheduling, budgets, tooling and resource allocation
- On-site Leadership, coaching, and development of operational and project teams
- Oversee continuous process improvement opportunities
- Promoting a strong safety culture and adherence

What do I need to join?
- Experience leading a team within a mining setting
- Experience in planning, prioritising, and managing concurrent tasks
- Trade Certificate - Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
- Section 26
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and database systems
- Excellent communication, analytical, and team leadership skills
