MR TOYS is a leading Toy and Hobby specialist with 22 stores located across south east Queensland including north and south Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba. We stock all the latest toys; we are passionate about toys and creating fun.
We are seeking an energetic candidate to fill a FULL TIME position in our store who will also provide occasional support to our other stores in the area.
We sell lots of toys so we have high levels of stock to manage. Highly regarded will be any experience gained from the grocery sector, or from a large department store setting.
You will need to have a current Drivers Licence with reliable transport or have easy access to public transport.
The position will require the successful candidate to:
- open boxes, process and ticket toy stock ready for shelf placement
- place ticketed stock onto shelves ready for sale,
pull down stock and restock shelves
- be able to work safely in our busy toy stores
- safely use a ladder
- follow directives and work as a team player.
Most importantly, you will need to have a friendly, happy disposition and a willingness to always give our customers EXCELLENT service.
We are open 7 days per week, most public holidays, and on Thursday nights so you also need to be available to work during these times - we manage our stores on a fair rostering system to cover these times. In addition, prior to Christmas and during Christmas, we work extended shopping hours, so availability during this time is also required.
