Bundaberg Central
- Established & Growing Organisation
We are partnering exclusively with an established and growing organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team in Bundaberg.
This is a broad, hands-on HRBP role with a robust People Operations focus. It will suit someone who enjoys partnering with leaders and employees, but equally loves getting under the hood of HR processes, systems and ways of working and making them better.
This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain what's already there. You'll have the opportunity to review, improve and streamline the employee experience across the full lifecycle, while providing practical HR support and advice to the business.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with leaders and the broader business across a range of HR and People Operations activities, including:
- Partnering with leaders on day-to-day people matters, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice
- Reviewing and improving HR operational processes, policies, systems and procedures
- Driving the optimisation and ongoing improvement of the HRIS, including data integrity, workflows and reporting
- Improving employment lifecycle processes across onboarding, probation, employee movements, agreements and offboarding
- Reviewing and maintaining employment agreements, policies, templates and HR documentation
- Supporting compliance across Modern Awards, employment legislation, Right to Work requirements, record keeping and HR audits
- Developing HR service standards, reporting and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Leading HR process improvement initiatives, including workflow automation and system enhancements
- Partnering across functions including Payroll, Finance, IT and operational leaders
- Supporting broader people initiatives as the organisation continues to evolve
About you
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating both strategically and operationally.
You'll ideally bring strong generalist HR/HRBP experience, but importantly, you'll enjoy the operational side of HR – systems, process, compliance, documentation and continuous improvement.
You'll be someone who can build credibility quickly, challenge constructively and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
Experience working with HRIS optimisation, process improvement or HR transformation initiatives would be particularly valuable.
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to join an organisation where the People function is evolving and where you'll have genuine scope to influence how HR operates.
You'll work with senior stakeholders, have ownership of meaningful improvement initiatives and play an important role in creating a more effective and consistent employee experience.
Due to the confidential nature of this appointment, further details regarding the organisation will be shared with suitable candidates during the initial conversation.
If you're an experienced HR Business Partner who enjoys improving how HR actually works – not just talking about it – we'd love to hear from you.
