Future Fleet Maintenance is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Orange, NSW. This role can be full-time or casual. We are looking for a diesel mechanic for immediate start to work on Sandvik Jumbos. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality mechanical services and maintaining machines to the highest standards. This role is based on-site in Orange, NSW 2800.
What you'll be doing
- Performing mechanical repairs on Sandvik Jumbos
- Conducting routine maintenance and servicing on diesel-powered vehicles and fleet machinery
- Inspecting vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brake systems and fuel systems
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for all work completed
- Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations and best practices
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations
What we're looking for
- A current qualification in diesel mechanics or equivalent hands-on experience in the automotive trades
- Experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Strong knowledge of engine components, fuel systems, cooling systems and electrical systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety standards
