About You
As a PDHPE Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning setting. You'll bring:
- a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- expertise in PDHPE,
an additional teaching area is advantageous
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices
- ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- a commitment to academic excellence
- ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- ability to employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- ability to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
- interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff
- demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
