Motackle & Outdoors is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Picker & Processor to join our growing team. If you're passionate about fishing, camping, and the outdoors, and enjoy delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As part of our mail order and customer service team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our online customers receive expert advice and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers via phone, email, live chat, and social media.
- Helping customers choose the right fishing and outdoor products to suit their needs.
- Providing knowledgeable product advice across our extensive range (training provided where required).
- Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting dispatch and warehouse operations to ensure orders are shipped on time.
- Using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Retail Express.
- Delivering a positive customer experience with every interaction.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A genuine passion for fishing and the outdoors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in the fishing, camping, surfing, diving, or outdoor recreation industries.
- Previous retail or e-commerce experience.
- Warehouse, dispatch, or order fulfilment experience.
