About the Client
Our client is a well-established specialist in steam systems, mechanical maintenance, piping, fabrication and industrial shutdowns. Operating since 2001, they employ more than 70 skilled tradespeople and work across a range of industrial sites throughout the region.
About the Role
We're looking for trade-qualified Maintenance Fitters to join the team on a casual basis.
Whether you're looking for a few days a week or full-time hours, this role offers flexibility, excellent pay and ongoing work with a respected local employer.
Duties include:
- Mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs on industrial plant and equipment
- Maintenance of steam systems and rotating equipment
- Bearing replacement and repairs (highly regarded)
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Working safely on customer sites
About You
To be successful you will have:
- Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical/Fitting (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Current White Card
- EWP Licence
- Working at Heights Ticket
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
What's on Offer?
- $75+ per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
- 9-hour paid days (7:00am - 4:00pm)
- Monday to Friday - no weekend work
- Weekly pay
