We're looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our growing specialist practice based in Norwest, providing exceptional support to both patients and clinicians.

What You'll Be Doing

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Responsibilities include:

- Answering and managing a busy phone line

- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

- Preparing clinics ahead of consulting sessions

- Managing incoming correspondence, faxes and referrals

- Billing consultations and processing payments

- Preparing daily banking and end-of-day reconciliations

- Maintaining accurate patient records

- Providing outstanding service to patients, specialists and referrers

- Supporting a busy team to ensure clinics run efficiently

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:





✔ Minimum 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist (Specialist ideally) but may be GP
✔ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
✔ Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
✔ Good general computer skills and confidence learning new systems

✔ A positive, team-focused attitude
✔ Professional presentation and a genuine passion for patient care
✔ Full and current driver's licence

Highly Regarded

- Experience using Genie Medical Software

- Previous experience in a specialist medical practice

Travel Requirements

While your primary location will be our Norwest clinic, you'll also support our clinics in:

- Gregory Hills

- Bowral

- St Leonards

Travel to one of these locations will be required approximately once per fortnight, so a current driver's licence and reliable transport are essential.
