Our Client is seeking a talented Senior Family Lawyer (5–7 years PQE) to join their growing Family Law team in a modern Sydney CBD office.
This is an outstanding opportunity to manage high-quality, complex family law matters, mentor junior lawyers, and play a key role in the continued growth of a well-established and respected practice. The Role:
You will independently manage a diverse and complex family law practice, handling matters from initial client conference through to settlement or final hearing. Your work will include:

- Parenting disputes
- Property settlements
- Financial agreements
- Child support matters
- Relocation and recovery order applications
- Divorce and de facto relationship matters

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing files from commencement through to final resolution
- Drafting and settling Court documents, including Initiating Applications, Responses, Affidavits, Financial Statements, Case Outlines and written submissions
- Appearing as solicitor advocate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia at procedural, interim and directions hearings, as well as mediations
- Briefing and instructing Counsel in complex litigation
- Advising clients on litigation strategy,



commercial outcomes and risk management
- Negotiating settlements and representing clients at mediations and dispute resolution conferences
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, graduates and paralegals
- Assisting with business development through networking, referrals and professional presentations

To be successful, you will have:

- Admission as a Solicitor in New South Wales
- 5–7 years' post-admission experience practising predominantly in Family Law
- Demonstrated experience managing complex parenting and property matters
- Strong advocacy, negotiation and courtroom skills
- Excellent drafting and written communication abilities
