We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join our Communal Group team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys variety. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our venues, facilities, and properties through general building maintenance, repairs, and minor renovation works.

Working across our clubs, gyms, offices, and residential properties, no two days will be the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building & Carpentry Maintenance

- General carpentry and repair works including set out, framing, repairs, and finishes

- Decking, framing, door installations, and minor building works

- Small renovation projects and general maintenance repairs

- Furniture assembly, shelving, and other associated works

General Repairs & Maintenance

- Basic tiling, patching, painting, and re-grouting

- Minor plastering and Gyprock repairs

- General troubleshooting, fault finding, and repairs

Plumbing Maintenance

- Basic plumbing including unblocking sinks and drains

- Repairing leaking taps

- Installing basic fixtures and fittings

Electrical Maintenance





- Basic electrical including replacing blown or burnt bulbs

- Changing fittings, light covers or shades

- Basic fault-finding including resetting circuit breakers

General Upkeep

- Gutter inspections and cleaning

- Pressure washing

- Supporting the ongoing presentation and maintenance of our venues

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ year’s experience working as a skilled Handyperson or in building maintenance

- Ability to troubleshoot, fault find, and complete repairs independently

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different teams

- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in delivering quality work

- Valuable understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

- A team player who is willing to support the wider business

Tickets & License's

Essential

- NSW Driver’s License

- White Card

- Trade qualification

Ideal

- First Aid & CPR

- Forklift License
