Platform Engineer:
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join our Networks Data & Analytics team. You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving a large-scale, cloud-native data platform built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), supporting data ingestion, processing, and delivery at enterprise scale.

What You’ll Work On

- Designing and building data lakehouse framework in Big Query while using Python.
- Designing and building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up, including webhook triggers, branch strategies, approval gates, rollback mechanisms, and multi-workplace promotion (Dev , SIT, STG, PreProd , Production). Experience in Gitlab is preferred.
- Architecting and delivering reusable platform frameworks and shared tooling from scratch, not just maintaining them, including pipeline templates, metadata-driven ingestion frameworks, and modular infrastructure stacks
- Managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across layered cloud architectures
- Driving observability across the platform, dashboards, alerting, and monitoring using Dynatrace and related tooling
- Ensure platform has no vulnerabilities e.g. MFA, Prisma, Nessus, PIAM, MFA, UAM, Encryption etc
- Supporting platform onboarding activities including security scanning setup, IAM/access provisioning, and connectivity requests (firewall rules, SFTP key management, network routing between system)

Key Skills





- Hands on experience in Python and setting up data warehouse framework preferably in native GCP tools.
- CI/CD: Proven, hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch, not just operating existing ones. Must have set up trigger configuration, branch protection, environment promotion gates, and rollback strategies end-to-end (Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Framework Development: Demonstrated experience designing and building platform frameworks from the ground up, reusable components, shared libraries, and templated tooling that engineering teams build on top of.
- IaC: Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
- GCP: Working knowledge of core GCP services, Cloud Composer (Airflow), BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run/Functions, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager.
- Observability: Experience with Dynatrace or equivalent monitoring platforms; ability to set up alerting, dashboards, and pipeline health checks.
- Platform Support: Experience onboarding teams onto platform services including security scanning, access management, and network connectivity/firewall configurat

Good to Have

- Understanding of networking concepts, inter-system connectivity, firewall rules, proxy configurations, and data transfer protocols (SFTP, Kafka)
- Familiarity with Confluent Kafka or event-streaming platforms
