HeavyDiesel Fitter – Mining Equipment (Workshop or Field) – Berrinba

Join a well-established and growing supplier of construction equipment parts across the mining sector. With a strong network and decades of industry experience, this business specialises in delivering high-quality new, remanufactured, and used parts for leading OEM brands.

Working across a well-equipped facility and/or in the field, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairing a range of construction machinery being used within the mining industry.

What’s on Offer

- $45/hr – Workshop
- $50/hr +ute – Field Service
- Overtime available + penalties
- Monday – Friday, 7:30am-16:00pm
- Berrinba, Brisbane based
- Permanent, full-time employment
- Brand new, up-to-date facility with new gear
- Variety of work across multiple equipment types and brands

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance on the growing fleet of heavy vehicle machinery
- Independently perform major repairs and overhauls on civil equipment
- Service and maintain machinery including:




- Excavators (Hyundai and other OEMs)
- Dozers
- Graders
- Water carts
- Rollers (Ammann, etc.)
- Work on a variety of OEM equipment including Komatsu, CAT, Hitachi, Kobelco, Sandvik, and more
- Complete either workshop-based or field service work on machinery
- Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency

Equipment working on

- Civil and construction machinery only
- Fleet includes machines such as:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Water carts
- Terex equipment (~40T range)
- Equipment between 15 - 50 tonnes

Requirements

- Trade qualified Fitter / Heavy Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic
- Experience working on civil/construction machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently in both workshop or field environments
