As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an Accounts & Billing Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our financial operations and helping our lawyers and support team work efficiently.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations & Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the firm's billing and funding processes while providing broader accounts, finance and administrative support.
You will work closely with our directors, lawyers and support team to ensure billing is completed accurately and efficiently, financial records are maintained, and key processes continue to evolve as the firm grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the end-to-end monthly billing process
- Preparing billing reports and supporting lawyers with billing requirements
- Monitoring work in progress and assisting with billing follow-up
- Trust account management including bank reconciliation, audit preparation and compliance regulations
- Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable
- Assisting with accounts receivable and reconciliations
- Supporting payroll, reporting and financial administration activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data integrity
- Assisting with finance-related projects and process improvements
- Supporting the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and workflows
- Providing general support to the Operations & Finance Manager as required
About You
You are organised, proactive and confident working with a range of stakeholders. You enjoy taking ownership of your work, solving problems and finding better ways of doing things.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a finance, billing, accounts or bookkeeping role
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with general ledger and account payable
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using accounting or practice management systems
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Highly Regarded
- Professional services experience within the legal, accounting or consulting industry
- Experience using accounting software and day to day processing of bank transactions
- Experience working with billing or practice management systems
