Practice Manager - Specialist Surgical Practice

Are you an enthusiastic and capable Practice Manager who enjoys new challenges, values innovation and wants to play a meaningful role in the growth of a specialist surgical practice?

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing practice across two locations. You will work closely with our directors, clinicians and tight knit administration team to support excellent patient care while helping shape the practice's next stage of development.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both people and problem solving. The role would suit a proactive, adaptable manager who is comfortable overseeing established systems while identifying new and better ways of working.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, supporting and developing our administration team

- Overseeing the efficient operation of two practice locations

- Managing staffing, workflows, rostering and day-to-day operational issues

- Supporting clinicians and maintaining a positive, cooperative workplace

- Reviewing and improving systems, policies and administrative processes

- Helping implement new services, technologies and practice initiatives

- Supporting the onboarding of new clinicians and team members

- Maintaining high standards of patient service, privacy and professional conduct

- Working closely with the directors on practice planning, performance and growth

- Embracing new challenges as the practice continues to develop





About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Is highly experienced managing a medical or specialist practice

- Is enthusiastic, approachable and confident

- Builds strong relationships with administrative staff and clinicians

- Enjoys working as part of a close and supportive team

- Demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of responsibilities

- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities across two locations

- Approaches challenges calmly and constructively

- Is interested in innovation and continuous improvement

- Can balance the needs of patients, clinicians, staff and the business

- Is excited by the opportunity to contribute to a growing practice

Experience with medical practice software, specialist billing and healthcare compliance would be highly regarded.
