About the role
Eureka Furniture is seeking a Casual Warehouse Labourer to join our dynamic team in Bundaberg. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehousing environment. You will be integral to our warehouse operations, supporting the movement, storage and distribution of furniture products. This role is based on-site at our Orange facility, where you will contribute to maintaining effective warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment.
What you'll be doing
- Loading, unloading and organising furniture and products within the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock taking activities
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assisting with the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Following all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly
- Experienced in the assembly and placement of furniture, you would be good with your hands and think outside the box to solve problems onsite.
- A good work ethic
- Some basic handyman skills helpful in the occasional repair
- Willing to lift furniture and assist with unloading trucks, organising furniture deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable communication skills and a cooperative attitude
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual work
- Commitment to health and safety practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required
