About the Role

We are on the lookout for three experienced Excavator and Final Trim Operators to join our growing team across various project sites throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland. You will play a key role in detailed earthworks, site finishing, and final trim operations. The detail is that we have roles for one 5 - 14 Tonne operator and two 15 – 50 Tonne operators.

These roles suit someone who takes real pride in operating new, modern plant and wants to keep equipment in pristine condition. You might be looking to stay in your happy place as a skilled plant operator with long-term stability, or you may want to develop into a leadership role (such as Leading Hand) in the future. We need both types of team members — people who want longevity and to feel part of the family, and those who want to grow into our future leaders.

You will need to be really valuable at your job. The owner is often operating the plant, but we want experienced people that will be proactive,



trusted and get the job done to a very high standard, so he doesn’t have to!

Key Responsibilities

Operate a 5 – 14 OR 14 – 50 tonne excavator for detailed and final trim earthworks

Carry out final trim and finishing works to design levels and specifications

Use GPS machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon or similar) to achieve accurate grades

Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment

Work safely and efficiently on active construction sites

Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members

Adhere to all WHS, site, and environmental requirements

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience operating a 5 tonne excavator in construction or civil environments

Experience with GPS machine control systems highly regarded

Strong understanding of final trim and detailed earthworks

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

Current Construction Induction White Card (required)

Valid driver’s licence (HR licence or above advantageous)

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
