About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our operations and drive business performance across all areas of the organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall success of the business, overseeing factory operations, installation teams, sales, administration, customer service, financial performance, and workplace culture.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of strategic planning and operational management. You will drive business growth, operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring the achievement of strategic and financial objectives.

About You

You are a strong leader with proven experience managing manufacturing, construction or operational teams. You understand how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and are passionate about developing people, improving processes and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of results, and have the commercial acumen to drive profitability while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop teams across operations, installation, sales, administration, and customer service.

- Drive accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

- Manage business performance, including budgets, forecasting, profitability, and KPIs.

- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

- Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

- Manage resources, workflow,



and production capacity to meet customer demand.

- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

- Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives.

Skills & Experience

- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, glazing, windows and doors, or a similar industry.

- 5-10 years’ experience in Management or Operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Commerce or related fields.

- MBA (highly desirable).

- Strong financial and commercial management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

- Experience improving systems, processes, and operational performance.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with ERP, CRM, and business management systems is advantageous.

- Sound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

- Current Driver's Licence.
