About the Role

Invigorate Ability is seeking experienced and resilient Disability Support Workers to join a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in the Campbelltown region.

This role will involve supporting participants with complex psychosocial, behavioural, and health support needs within a structured and well-supported team environment.

You will work closely with our leadership team, behaviour support practitioners, and allied health professionals to provide consistent, trauma-informed, and person-centred support that promotes safety, independence, and stability.

This is an excellent prospect for support workers who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in complex support environments and who thrive in team-based, structured SIL settings.

What You’ll Do

- Provide daily living supports, including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, and household tasks.
- Support participants to build independence, life skills, and community participation.
- Follow Behaviour Support Plans and implement positive behaviour support strategies.




- Maintain professional documentation and incident reporting in line with NDIS standards.
- Promote a safe, calm, and structured home environment for all residents.
- Work collaboratively with team leaders, management, and clinical professionals to support participant goals.
- Respond professionally and calmly to challenging behaviours or complex support situations.

About You

- You are compassionate, professional, and confident supporting individuals with complex needs. You remain calm under pressure and understand the importance of consistency, boundaries, and teamwork in a SIL environment.
- You are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred supports and contributing to a positive team culture.

Essential Criteria

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or currently studying.
- Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, or complex support needs.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.

Desirable

- Experience working in Supported Independent Living environments.
- Experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Training in trauma-informed practice, de-escalation, or positive behaviour support.
