We are seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver / Storeman to join the team at TGT Rural Operations in Mareeba, Queensland. This full-time role will see you responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods as well as the management of our warehouse operations. This is a full time position, operating Monday to Friday with participation in a rotating Saturday morning roster.
What you'll be doing
Operate a heavy rigid truck to transport goods into and from our warehouse and customer sites
Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for
Manage inventory, including stock takes, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
Assist with general warehouse tasks as required
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a truck driver and/or in a warehousing/logistics role
Current HR truck licence and forklift licence
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Positive communication and customer service skills
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
